Maureen Langlois established Clarifier Consulting in 2024 after a career in higher education where she saw an unmet need for clarifiers to help funding seekers crystallize their ideas to make progress toward their goals. Clarifying can come in many forms, from early team-building through ideation, concept development, proposal development, submission, and funder pitches & interviews. Based in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A., we have a global clientele including research institutions, non-profits, and startups. So far, we have helped our teams land over $80 million in project funding. As the former Associate Director of Research Development at The Ohio State University, she played a pivotal role in securing over $80M in funding from prestigious agencies like DOE, NSF, and NASA. Her expertise spans various disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, and public health, making her an invaluable resource for teams spanning disciplines and sectors. Maureen is also a skilled facilitator and funding strategy coach, and has helped dozens of teams crystallize their ideas, enrich their collaborations, and co-create strategic plans with stakeholders.
